Coorg, Karnataka · Estate Stay
Stay in our heritage estate surrounded by coffee plants, teak trees, birdsong and morning mist.

The Estate
At Vaishnavi Estate, mornings begin with fresh coffee, mist rolling through the plantation, and birds calling through silver oak trees. This is Coorg as it was meant to be experienced — at the pace of the land, not the clock.

Brewed every morning from beans grown a few steps from your door.
Walk the rows with the family — learn how shade-grown coffee comes to life.
Pandi curry, akki roti, kadambuttu — eaten slowly at a long shared table.
Cool nights, woodsmoke, and the kind of quiet you forget exists.
Over 80 species pass through — bring binoculars or borrow ours.
WiFi available, but the mist usually wins. We recommend letting it.

Where we are
Tucked near Virajpet in the southern hills of Coorg, Karnataka. Five hours from Bangalore by road, three from Mangalore — and a full world away from either.
Good to know
October through March is ideal — cool, misty mornings and clear skies. June to September brings dramatic monsoon greens for those who love rain.
We offer 100% refund in the case of genuine cancellations. Request guests to let us know at least 10 days ahead of time so that we can try to offer the place to someone else. Holiday planning is always done in advance - so the maximum amount of lead time helps us as well.
After every guest leaves the place is cleaned. In keeping with our philosophy of supporting/ sustaining the environment, we do not change sheets during a multi day stay - unless you specifically request it. This is our way of not having to waste water (and also not charge you more for it).
This is a very valid question if you plan to visit only one place in Coorg (which is a district with several attractions and activities). Otherwise, if you plan to visit multiple sights - It doesn't really matter where you stay and you are better of choosing the right property.
Absolutely. Kids love the open space, the bonfires, and meeting the estate dogs.
